Mission Statement

Sample TreatmentThe mission of the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine (CDM) Graduate Prosthodontics program is to train residents to become competent prothodontists. The program will provide in-depth education, stressing the most current treatment modalities. This Program will integrate the medical and social aspects of the patient into the overall dental treatment plan, along with the interralationship of other disciplines affecting total patient care. This Program will develop prosthodontists who demonstrate a quality of conduct that advocates the use of superior knowledge, care, skill and judgment, towards the benefit of their patients and colleagues prior to consideration of self-interests.
